The Static Creep Tester gives a tensile or compressive constant load to a
test piece in a thermostat chamber and measures the creep that changes with the
time elapsed at that time. The creep can be measured at increments of 0.1 mm
with a rotary encoder, and maximum loads up to 1 kN can be loaded. The
thermostat chamber can be controlled between room temperatures +10 to 150¡É,
while the interval for data collection can be set to 0.5 seconds as the shortest
setting. Machine operation, test condition setting, data processing, and graph
plotting are performed by special designed software.
