The Gas Transmission Rate Tester pressurizes the front surface of the test
piece by using measurement gas of a specified pressure and depressurizes the
back side, thus causing a pressure difference between the two sides of the test
piece. Due to this pressure difference, the pressure changes linearly in
proportion to the test time. The gradient applied at that time is then used to determine the transmission
rate. This equipment is so designed as to change the temperature environment of
the test piece and measurement gas over a wide range by using circulated
constant-temperature water for measurement
